The Story
The Socialface story began in 2011, founder Shona Mackin had just finished working with one of Australia's major publishers. Initially hired to support their sales team, she went on to set up social media accounts for some of their subsidiary websites - more than 50 all up.
When the contract finished, a seed had been firmly planted - Businesses needed to add social media to their marketing strategies and no one was doing it. Seriously, not even the leading marketing agencies at the time!
Talking to friends and a business network
that needed help embracing social media, Socialface was born and by the afternoon on day 2 of testing the water, 2 clients had signed up and then we really got to work.
Socialface launched as the first specialist social media agency in Australia.

Currently Shona resides in beautiful Macedon Ranges in Victoria and offers coaching and mentoring to businesses looking to get more from their social media and digital assets.
